First Time at Seven Senses Spa? Here’s How to Get the Most Out of Your Visit

Whether you're brand new to massage or just new to our spa, your first visit to Seven Senses Spa is the beginning of a deeply restorative experience. We want you to feel welcomed, informed, and completely at ease from the moment you walk through our doors. Here's everything you need to know to help you make the most of your visit—and feel confident before you even arrive.

Step Inside and Unwind

As you enter the spa, you'll be greeted by the calming aroma of essential oils and the gentle sound of music designed to help your nervous system shift into rest mode. Take a breath—you're in good hands now.

Our front desk team will check you in and offer you a few moments to relax before your session begins. We encourage you to arrive about 10 minutes early so you're not rushed, and so we can take time to review your intake form together. This form helps us understand your goals, preferences, and any areas of concern you’d like us to focus on—or avoid.

What Happens During Your Session

Your therapist will greet you and guide you to your treatment room, where you'll have a chance to ask any final questions and clarify your preferences. Whether you're looking for deep pressure to release tension or a gentler approach to calm the mind, your experience will be tailored to your body and energy that day.

At Seven Senses Spa, we use a curated selection of oils, balms, and bodywork techniques—each chosen to promote balance, healing, and deep relaxation. You’re welcome to speak up during your session if anything feels uncomfortable, or if you’d like more or less pressure. This is your time.

What to Bring and How to Prepare

There’s no need to bring anything special—just come as you are. We recommend wearing comfortable clothing and staying well-hydrated before and after your massage. Avoid eating a heavy meal right before your appointment so your body can fully relax and receive the benefits of the work.

If you’re unsure which treatment to book, don’t worry. Our team is happy to help guide you based on how you’re feeling and what you’re hoping to get out of your session.

Aftercare and Integration

Massage therapy doesn’t end when you step off the table. Your body continues to respond to the work hours and even days later. Drink plenty of water, move gently, and give yourself space to rest. Many of our clients report better sleep, improved mood, and increased body awareness in the days following their treatment.

If you’re visiting us while on vacation, we encourage you to schedule your massage early in your trip so you can enjoy all the benefits during your stay. And if you’re a local resident, this can be the start of a consistent wellness practice that keeps you feeling grounded and cared for year-round.

We’re So Glad You’re Here

Our mission at Seven Senses Spa is to help you feel seen, supported, and more connected to your well-being. We know the first step is often the hardest—but you’ve made it, and we’re honored to hold space for your healing.

Mahalo for choosing us. We can’t wait to welcome you.
